The big day

Bride makeup artist devon

What to expect on the lead up to your day...

I'm guessing that the reason that you are here is that you are getting married! Yay, how exciting!

My aim is to make you feel and look your best on your wedding day. You can expect me to be there every step of the way to guide you, whether it is about makeup looks, recommendations for hair stylists, or helping you with a tiktok on the morning of your day!

The trial...

After initially booking with me, the next step is your trial.

Your trial is a chance for us to get to know each other a bit better, and have some fun!

At your trial we will discuss everything about your wedding vision. We will chat about your wedding theme, pictures and ideas of looks that you like, and even what you don't like.

Trials normally last around 1.5 - 2 hours, and once we have found a look you are happy with I will note down all the products we have used and send this to you in case you wish to purchase any products we have used. I will also send you a rough schedule for the morning of your day, which ensures everything runs smoothly, and that your party are aware of times they need to be ready to have their makeup applied.

On the day of your wedding I will travel to wherever you and your party will be getting ready, whether this is your home, hotel or your wedding venue. For ease of the morning, I would recommend that you have your 'getting ready' location at one venue, rather than changing venues halfway through your morning to alleviate any unnecessary stress for you and your party.

I will get to work as soon as I arrive, and will have sent you a schedule beforehand to ensure you know timings for your morning. I like to leave around 60-75 minutes for the bride on the morning, and would normally complete your makeup second to last, to ensure your makeup is as fresh as it can be. (It also gives you a chance to have glass or two of bubbly!)

The big day!
